Description
These can be a great alternative for peanuts, which are not only high in oxalate, but the oxalate in peanuts is very bio-available. Someone close to me had urinary issues that were very much exacerbated by using peanuts as a daily staple, so this one is close to my heart.
Low Oxalate Baru Nuts don’t taste quite the same as peanuts, but they have a similar crunch and look… they’re certainly worth a try.

These taste a bit like peanuts but crunchier, and fun to shell like a huge pine nut. I appreciate their healthy properties while being a fun snack.
